Where are the cards? – Pre-A0+ English Story 7 🌟

October 1, 2026

The adventure continues!

Ella, Mia, Tim and Dave have a new challenge: they need to find the missing cards.

A mysterious map shows them where to look, so the children start searching around the library. They check different objects and places, ask questions and follow each clue carefully.

But finding the cards is only the beginning…

English vocabulary from the story

Story 7 introduces and repeats simple words children can understand directly from the pictures and actions:

card
box
table
chair
backpack
rug
map

Children see the objects while hearing the English words, helping them connect meaning with the story naturally.

Practising in, on and under

A key part of Story 7 is understanding where things are.

Children hear simple questions and answers such as:

Where is it?
Is it in the box?
Is it on the chair?
Is it under the table?
Yes, it is.

The story gives children a visual context for the prepositions in, on and under, instead of asking them to memorise the words separately.

Follow the clues

The children search one place after another.

They look carefully, find the cards and bring them together on the rug.

Then they notice something surprising — the backs of the cards create another picture.

But something is wrong.

One card is missing.

Where could it be?

Useful English phrases

Story 7 also repeats short phrases children can begin using independently:

Let’s find the cards.
Where is it?
Look!
Yes, it is.
One card is missing.
Let’s go.

Short, repeated phrases like these help beginner learners start understanding English as complete messages rather than individual vocabulary words.

What happens next?

The new puzzle points the children towards the next part of their adventure.

What will they find there?
